Oral B & Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation Initiative (2022)
Oral-B is passionate about the overall health and wellbeing of Australians. To help provide financial support to Australian families in need, Oral-B reigniting its partnership with Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation – a non-profit organisation that’s goal is to find a cure for Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy.
Commencing 24th February until the 23rd March (inclusive), for every Oral-B product sold at participating Chemist Warehouse retailers, Oral-B will make a monetary donation to the Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation. This monetary donation will enable Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation to invest in lifechanging resources and research to help improve the lives of individuals and families within the Duchenne and Becker community.
DETAILS OF YOUR DONATION
*Purchase any Oral-B product between 24/02/2022 to 23/03/2022 (inclusive) at Chemist Warehouse stores (in-store and online) nationally, and 5% of the purchase price will be donated to Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation. Pricing is at the sole discretion of the retailer. Oral-B has a monetary donation target of $75,000 AUD. The monetary donation will be provided to Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation following the month of March.
ABOUT SAVE OUR SONS DUCHENNE FOUNDATION
Save our Sons Duchenne Foundation is a non-for-profit organisation working to find a cure for those living with Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy in Australia. Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy is a genetic condition that impacts muscle development, causing muscle degeneration and weakness over time. Last year, even with the impact of Covid-19, the team at Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation continued to work hard to increase awareness of Duchenne & Becker muscular dystrophy and raise funds to continue to support the neuromuscular nurses they currently fund in paediatric hospitals around the country, provide support, information and educational resources for families living with the conditions.
The Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation engages in advocacy and community engagement as well as ongoing fundraising initiatives designed to raise funds for essential research, service delivery and the provision of critical resources to the Duchenne and Becker community including funding nursing programs and scholarship programs1.
